I’m happy to announce a special event we are holding this December with two friends of mine from Santa Monica, California, who specialize in psychedelic science, treatment and clinical research. They are medical professionals extensively trained in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, and our project is to explore the optimal application of plant sacraments for accelerated spiritual practices and activating precise energy circuits in the human body.
The first of my partners in this project is Keith Heinzerling, MD, a physician board-certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine and the Director of a psychedelic research and therapy center in Santa Monica, California. Keith has been Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator for clinical trials of Psilocybin and LSD, with upcoming trials with MDMA and 5-MeO-DMT in preparation.
Our other partner in this project is Karina Sergi, LMFT, a licensed psychotherapist, educator, and clinical researcher. She has extensive training in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapies, including the CIIS Certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapies and Research, as well as training from MAPS (MDMA), Ketamine Training Center, and Polaris Insight Center (ketamine), Usona Institute (Psilocybin), MindMed (LSD), and Fluence (5-MEO-DMT).
Keith and Karina own SkyFire Retreats, and have organized a unique Spiritual Retreat at a beautiful small hotel in Mexico which has its own private beach on the Pacific Ocean.
This Retreat is specifically designed only for persons who have already had multiple experiences with Psilocybin mushrooms (now legal or decriminalized in multiple jurisdictions in the U.S. and other countries) and who want to explore using this expansion of their consciousness for greatly accelerated personal growth.
Keith and Karina have invited me to join them as the primary spiritual activations instructor at this Retreat. I will lead the group each day through many practices to activate both higher consciousness and specific energy circuits in their bodies, while Keith and Karina are present to ensure the safest possible environment. During two of the days at this Mexican Retreat, participants will take a Psilocybin Sacrament, followed by intensive spiritual practices led by myself to explore precise applications of that state for higher development.

In my experience of the rapidly expanding psychedelic renaissance around the world, I have found that most retreats featuring psychotropic sacraments tend to have a very loose structure where participants are simply allowed to have whatever experience arises, with little or no guidance for directing the experience on specific inner pathways. In many cases a main focus of the experience, especially for those new to the sacrament, is a purging of toxic emotional baggage.
There are certainly many potential benefits to this approach, however what is more difficult to find today is the next level which comes AFTER the initial emotional processing stage.
This next level takes advantage of a very powerful phenomenon: how the significant raising of our internal energy in psychotropic experiences makes the subtle energy channels in our bodies (usually just conceptual and hard to feel for most people today) extremely tangible and directly experiential.
In this state of direct visceral experience of our subtle energy centers and channels, we can make huge advances in our internal development in a short period of time. This was understood and used in ancient traditions for powerful practical applications.
So this Retreat is dedicated to exploring this classical application of these sacraments for spiritual initiation, as a way to intensify and accelerate the ACTIVATION of
of our Participants in a more precise way.
To put it another way,
This Retreat is devoted to exploring the power and potential of the psychotropic experience for deep internal alchemical activation & transformation – and how to stabilize and make permanent these beneficial alchemical transformations.
As noted above, this Retreat is not for beginners unfamiliar with the expanded inner state and/or whose focus may instead be on emotional purging.
To put this into a larger context, this classical alchemical process involves four stages which we will explore further in this Retreat:
This retreat is specifically for those who are experienced and comfortable with psychedelic sacraments.
To apply for attendance at this Retreat requires having had a minimum of three previous journeys/experiences with Psilocybin or other psychotropic substances. Applicants should also come to this Retreat to explore this activated, expanded state specifically for accelerated inner development, not for for emotional processing.
Also to save time at the event itself regarding learning fundamental internal activation practices, all participants must complete two of the Vesica Institute Online Courses before our live December Retreat. These two online courses are Essential Teachings and Practices of Spiritual Science and Connecting to Spiritual Realities. Although there will be many practices at this Retreat which are not included in these courses, having all participants complete these two short courses will allow us to progress much more quickly at this live event!
As long as you meet the other prerequisites for this event, you DO NOT have to have completed these two courses listed above prior to sending in your application; however, if your application is approved to attend this Retreat, if you have not previously completed these two online short courses then you will need to register for and to complete these two online courses prior to the start of the live Retreat on December 11, 2024 (both of these online courses are available for streaming on your own schedule, whenever works for you, and both courses could easily be completed in a month during your spare time. So as long as you begin them by early November you should be fine). Note that there is a separate tuition fee for these two online trainings, if you have not previously completed them.

We have only a small number of spaces available for this retreat (less than 20). Our group will completely take over the hotel on the ocean, with all hotel guests being members of our group (and the only other persons present being the staff of the hotel).
After SkyFire Retreats have selected those applications that best match the nature of this Retreat, Keith and Karina will set up phone or Zoom interviews with those applicants, which will then lead to their making the final selection of participants for this small group event.
Those selected for this event would then need to pay the tuition fee in full within a specific time frame to claim their space at the Retreat. For the final participants there will also be a couple of online preparatory zoom sessions with Keith and Karina prior to the event.
The dates for our upcoming retreat are arrival at the location in Mexico on Wednesday, December 11, and departure on Monday, December 16. There will be a group dinner and initial meeting on the evening of December 11, then four full days of practices at the Retreat (of which two days will feature activation practices during a psychotropic experience). The event will conclude with a group breakfast and final summary meeting on the morning of December 16.
These dates allow us to take advantage of the powerful energies of the Full Moon on December 15, which is the Full Moon just before the Winter Solstice (a time of maximum spiritual awakening in the cycle of the year.)
The tuition for this retreat is $7999 ,which includes a shared hotel room with another participant and all meals, or $9999 for a private room and all meals (there are very few private rooms available at the retreat center, most rooms are double occupancy which you will be sharing with another participant).
You will be flying into Puerto Vallarta Airport in Mexico, the closest major airport to the Retreat Hotel. Transportation from Puerto Vallarta Airport to the hotel on the arrival day of the event (Wednesday, December 11) and back to the airport on the departure day (Monday, December 16) will be provided and is included in your Tuition.
However, please be aware that each participant is responsible for their flight to the Puerto Vallarta Airport and from the airport back home.

We anticipate many more persons applying for this special event than we have space for, so we will be giving preference to those applications which best meet the conditions for this Retreat; this includes prior experience of psychotropic sacraments and not having any currently active mental or emotional illnesses, as this Retreat is intended for those ready for intensive spiritual activation and is not intended for the preparatory processing of psychological issues.
Also please note that on our psychotropic experience days participants will not be experiencing “heroic” super-high dosages of Psilocybin, these will be medium level dosages so that participants can more easily stay conscious and clearly oriented throughout the activation practices. The specific mushroom sacrament we will be experiencing has also been selected for the tremendous clarity of the internal states it creates.
