The Symbol of Life contains the central teachings of the Greek Cypriot Healer and Mystic, Daskalos (Dr. Stylianos Atteshlis - 1912-1995).
The Symbol is Life. It shows the hidden essential structures of the human energy field, on the three different spiritual levels (physical, emotional-mental, spiritual.)
Working with the Symbol can create permanent beneficial transformations in the human being on all levels.
Through his work to crystallize the Symbol of Life in his own energy fields during earlier incarnations, Daskalos was able to bring a wide range of powerful abilities into his life. He was known for being able to remember how to read and write a wide range of languages (including Sanskrit, Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs, Aramaic, etc.), as well as tremendous healing and esoteric spiritual abilities.
The Symbol originated in Ancient Egypt, and was transformed into its modern form at the court of the Egyptian pharaoh Ankh-en-Aton and his enlightened hierophants, 1400 years before the birth of Christ.
The Symbol was used by Moses (Mosis) after his initiation into the Egyptian Mysteries, becoming the foundation of the current Jewish Kabbalistic Tree of Life.
However the Symbol of Life took a different path of development, playing a crucial hidden role in Christian mysticism from the time of the Essenes.
The Symbol helps cleanse and structure the personality on many levels: transforming karmic conditions, opening contact with the spiritual hierarchies, and leading to peace and well being in the here and now. The Symbol is a profound tool for healers and as well as for self-healing. Work with the Symbol is, above all, a clear and direct path to the Christ Consciousness, our home in the "I-AM" Divine Awareness.
In the seminar Paul and Brigit Skorpen will guide you through the 10 energy centers (chakras) that compose the Symbol, and to experience each center at three different levels: physical, emotional-mental, and spiritual. Each energy center is a door, through which we can enter the Kingdom of Heavens Within. Participants will leave the seminar with many tools to work practically with the Symbol of Life in their own energy fields.
Background of Paul and Birgit Skorpen
1982-1985: Paul attended University of Maine and studied under Kyriacos Markides (Sociology). Markides wrote three classic books about Daskalos, which exposed his existence to the world for the first time.
1987- 89: Paul studied shamanism and Buddhism in Kathmandu, Nepal (with the University of Wisconsin).
1989: Paul arrived in Cyprus to work with Daskalos.
1990: Paul brought into the Inner Circle by Daskalos. Paul had the unique privilege to live and work intimately with Daskalos. He also helped arranged Daskalos' travels to teach in Europe, the U.S., and Brazil and assisted him on these tours. Paul helped to create the foundation books teaching Daskalos' system to the public (The Esoteric Teaching, The Esoteric Practice, and others.)
1990: Birgit attends a five-day seminar Daskalos' offered in Memmingen, Germany and begins to devote her life to Daskalos' teachings. After studying philosophy, Birgit enjoyed years of success as a stage, TV and film actress.
1994: Daskalos suffers a stroke in June.
Birgit arrived in Cyprus to live with Paul.
1995: Daskalos departs his body.
1996: Paul leaves Cyprus and settles in Munich, Germany.
1997: Paul and Birgit create the Theosis Institute of Mysticism and Healing.
2001 to date: Theosis offers Seminars at The Golden Circle in Denmark (Theosophic orientated center).
2006-2009: Theosis offered Seminars at Stiftung Rüttihubelbad (Anthroposophic center near Bern, Switzerland.)
2007- 2011: Birgit offers courses on the Symbol of Life in Denmark, Switzerland and Germany.
2007-2010: Theosis offers talks and seminars in cooperation with Kath. Bildungswerk im Kreis Böblingen (education arm of the Catholic church.)
Paul and Birgit are the proud parents of Jana and Miles Skorpen and live on Starnberg Lake in Bavaria.
